  • To provide maximal comfort we offer 8 different possible fits/proportions per size so we don’t expect you to know exactly what size/fit to order. Order your usual size and after your purchase you will be given a link to send in pictures of your feet. We will study your pictures and choose the best size and fit for you and then make your personal shoes over the 4-6 weeks. Your shoes will be shipped directly to you from our factory in Italy.

  • Our shoes are made in Italy in a region famous for designer shoes, known as the Marche. Tod's, Ferragamo, Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Gianvito Rossi, Dolce Gabbana, Dior, and Bally are just a few designers who produce shoes in our region. Our design studio is in the Republic of San Marino, where our ideas take flight!

  • No we have included duty and shipping in the price of your shoes. If you need to exchange shoes you will be sent a label to return your shoes to our LA location.

  • We have a 30 day exchange policy if the shoes are unworn and undamaged. If you are exchanging for a different size or style, the return shipping is free. For shoes with customizations only a store credit will be issued. Standard shoes without customizations will be refunded if unworn or undamaged within 30 days. We We want you to be thrilled, so contact us if you need anything.

  • You will feel like you are wearing a much lower heel and are more stable. For example, a 4 inch heel feels like 2 inches in our shoes. You should feel more balanced and have less fatigue at the end of the day. Women, including our co-founder Taryn Rose, MD, wear our heels 12-14 hours a day.

  • We do not sell to other retail stores because we want our own expert fitters to fit you online or in person. We do pop ups throughout the year in various cities so you can sign up [here][2] to get our newsletter. You can [book a virtual fitting][2] which while is not the same as trying the shoes on we are really good at knowing your size based on your pictures.

  • We offer multiple different arches to maximize the support you get from our ALIA technology. The “wings” can be lowered or raised to be further customized to your feet.

  • If your customized shoes do not fit we go through a process to discover the reason for the discomfort. This requires you to send us photos and a description of the problem you are encountering. Sometimes we will request a virtual meeting to get further assessment of the problem in real time with you.

    The majority of the time it requires only an adjustment but if that does not work we will remake the shoes to improve your fit and satisfaction. If you wish to not go through the process you may choose to receive a store credit for another style or you can receive a refund if shoes are unworn and in re-sellable condition MINUS the custom charges. We usually advise customers to opt for the store credit in order to not lose the custom fees. The custom fees are non-refundable because the custom work was done and this discourages those who are not seriously committed to the process of getting the best fit.

  • All Sales Are Final: We do not offer refunds for any reason. However, we do provide the option for exchanges under certain conditions.

    The shoes must be returned to our company within 30 days of the receipt of the order.

    The shoes must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as when received.

    Upon meeting these criteria, you will be eligible for an exchange with store credit. This store credit can be used towards a future purchase or for a redo of your custom shoes.

    Remake for Improved Fit: In cases where the shoes do not fit properly, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. If the shoes need an improved fit, we will be happy to remake them for you. Please contact our customer service team within 30 days of receiving your order to initiate the process.

    Please note that all shipping costs associated with exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping will be covered by Enrico Cuini for shoes requiring a remake.

  • When we analyze your measurements we may recommend customizations that would improve your fitting even though we offer so many options. Typically the measurements are close to the lasts (forms) we have but are not quite exact and additional space would improve comfort or shortening of the insole would decrease the gap in the back for example.

    These are the common custom charges at $100 each in addition to the cost of the shoes:

    1. enlarge and/or elongate toe box: typically necessary for those with a wider forefoot or longer toes proportionally

    2. shortening of insoles: this is necessary for when we need to use a larger size to fit a wider forefoot but need to shorten the back to decrease the gap in the back. The other scenario is when someone has a very long thin foot we need to use a longer insole but trim the width of the insole.

    3. raise/lower wings: the height of our arch support comes in a standard height but if you have an extremely high arch or a completely flat arch we will adjust the arch support for maximal comfort

    4. mismatch: for those with two feet of different sizes we will make the shoes mismatched.

  • We based our custom charges on what is needed for each individual customer and their feet. Therefore two people who are buying the exact same shoes may be charged different customization fees based on their foot measurements being different.

  • We based our custom fees and recommendations on your measurements and the lasts of the style that you choose. For example some styles are already wider so there are less adjustments for those with a wide foot. There are so many variabilities we cannot possibly describe all here. Our general philosophy is that we do not charge clients unless it is necessary to improve their fit and comfort.

  • In most of our styles we offer size 34-43. For those outside of this range we will need to charge and extra charge because they are not within our standard offerings and we need to order additional lasts (molds). In addition to make shoes outside of the normal range may require new molds for heels and insoles. The factory also has to spend time to completely reset machineries to work with shoes outside of the standard range. All of these factors contribute to additional fees being charged.   • Most of the shoes we make are customizations of the multiple standard lasts we have in our selection. Occasionally we have clients who are completely outside the range of what we offer (and we offer more options than any other company) so we recommend for those clients a custom last where Enrico personally carves the wooden last (mold) with the client’s specific measurements. The last is used exclusively for the client when shoes are made. Each last is for a specific shape of shoe and heel height (for example a sandal last is different from a pointed closed toe last). The fee for this ultimate luxury is $3500 per last plus $600 for 20 pairs of personal insoles to match the last. Once a last is paid for, styles using the same last will not have additional charges.
